Captain of Congers Valley Cottage Volunteer Ambulance Corps (CVCVAC)'s Youth Corps team in the Rockland County Youth Drill Team Skills Competition.
Here, youth volunteers compete in a county-wide competition where teams of five must complete mock-patient assessments as if they were certified EMTs in the field.
We took home 2nd place.
My senior year of high school, I was acting President of CVCVAC's Youth Corps.
I was responsible for planning and leading weekly meetings and trainings, that would prepare members for ride-alongs on the ambulance.
I was also tasked with overseeing and executing routine fundraisers for the corps.
